W&S Weichen- und Signaltechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded from a small bedroom in Castrop-Rauxel.

W&S started operating from the garage at home just under a year later.

W&S Technik has been a contractual partner of Deutsche Bahn since 2010 and impresses with its quality and performance.

A short time later, W&S Weichen- und Signaltechnik GmbH & Co. KG became today’s W&S Technik GmbH.

Plenty of room for great performance: that year, Herner Straße 130 in Castrop-Rauxel became the new company headquarters.

New space. new possibilities: The W&S Services department is now part of the company in order to create an even more comprehensive range of quality and services.

Just one year later, the company’s new W&S Consulting department is established and has been training staff from all over the country with professional expertise and pure passion ever since.

Since this year, the Consulting department has included the Development level and is starting to shape the digital future with the MPX system.

W&S Technik opens its first branch office in Friedrichsdorf, Hesse, with the aim of being even more flexible nationwide.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the new head office extension in Herner Straße is held.

This year begins with the move into the new extension at the company headquarters in Castrop-Rauxel. At the same time, the old building is being refurbished and space created for new projects.

The company is planning to build a training centre in order to expand its range of training, education and further training measures.
